The past that makes you cry will make you grow
the  loneliness that makes you cry will make you strong
do not  regret your past
do not forget your past
past is  just past
anyway it does not exist
it can not  exist
it will remain in you
but it can not rule  you
as it is only memories
since you already  have a different world,
you should be the person in that  world…
nothing else.

Fictional Darlings: Holly Golightly

An obvious choice, again, i know, but Holly Golightly is timeless and a must on a fictional heros list! seriously she has got it good. she does not want to let someone/anyone trap her in a cage...she will be free and she will live her life the way she wants to! at least before the big guy comes and in and pulls that whole kiss in the rain with the cat, oh so dramatic...but oh so classic just like Tiffany's

Breakfast at Tiffany's = Holly Golightly = Audrey Hepburn

Moon River sweet sweet bliss....

classic far shot

followed by the double classic close up
rain
alley
cat
anger
frustration
attraction
passion
it doesn't get much more classic than that!

Fictional Darlings: Marla Singer

Marla Singer played by Helena Bonham Carter in Fight Club
=
Badass Basket Case

Some might say it is weird that she is the list of fictional heroines...but to me it is quite the contrary. You see Marla has the problem of getting through life daily, she cannot seem to find a purpose. Who in this world does not have the same issue every now and then? yeah that is what i thought. Marla is perfecto!

Fictional Darlings: Sophie Kowalsky

intense moments in the rain = splendid!

Sophie Kowalsky played by Marion Collitar in Love Me If You Dare
One of the few French films i have seen and i absolutely love it! Sophie is a daredevil to the max, just watch the movie and you will know what i mean. Plus she is madly in love with the boy but they don't know how to be together because of the game!! if none of this is making sense to you that is understandable, but fo real watch this film because you will fall in love with Sohpie just like i did!!

p.s. guess who got some heeled clogs reminisent of Chanel clogs???

Fictional Darlings: Clementine Kruczynski

So Clementine is a spit-fire who has the best hair changes and lives in a way that is vicarious and infectious! That sounded really cheesy, but i don't care because Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is phenomonal and makes me think real good about memories and whether it is better to have loved and lost or have never loved at all....for the record I think love is always the way to go if you can find it.
Kate Winslet as Clementine Kruczynski in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

p.s. Zooey is in OFW!! holla at my sista!

24.5.10

Fictional Darlings: Elizabeth Bennett

Ok, I know this seems like such an obvious choice, but really Lizzy Bennett is kickass, especially in the most recent adaptation of Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightly portraying her. She has got vim and vigor and guts and brains and balls and killer personality.
"Adieu to disappointment and spleen. What are men to rocks and mountains?"

Fictional Darlings: Mona Lisa Vito

To say the least I find myself thoroughly in like with many onscreen heroines. I plan on doing one a day for the biggies and providing you all (since there are so many of you) with a list of the smallies!
Today = Mona Lisa Vito from My Cousin Vinny
